Newz

so many things!

in november i painted a mural in Honolulu on Waikiki Beach at the new urban outfitters store thanks to my friends at Pow! Wow! Hawaii. you can see more cool pictures of the mural in progress on their blog.

and they did a pretty neat studio visit at my house before i headed to hawaii to paint the mural, more cool pictures!

in october i painted this huge heart for the SF General annual Hearts in SF fundraiser. it will be auctioned in february 2015.

then these utility boxes in Walnut creek got wrapped in vinyl prints of my paintings...

and then this huge 50 foot wall on Market Street in San Francisco was wrapped in a giant vinyl print of a painting i made, customized for this spot. it's between 6th and 7th street and should be there for about three years!

also made this little installation at Empire 7 Studios in san jose for a show called broad spectrum with all female artists in December. you can sit with the monster guy named leif and gaze at the super sonic sunset.

if you always wanted to wear super sonic sunsets, magic hecksagons and diamonds all over your legs and arms, you can now purchase stuff with my paintings on it at rare.skyou.com.
i have continued to interview a bunch of artists for Juxtapoz Magazine and make videos for my Art School video series. here are two of my Jux cover stories that i was pretty stoked about (jenny morgan and andy rementer).
i also got to do my first print release and sell some paintings with the good folks at 1xRUN. mohawk paper, y'all.
phew! i feel very lucky and happy about all of these nice things that happened. and you know what else? happy holidays!

3 Things!

My husband Jeff and I made an installation for the 2014 Bay Area Now Triennial at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. We were chosen by the kind people at Adobe Books Backroom Gallery to be in this show. We built a huge 21 x 12' wall, which is a tribute to our friend Shawn.

I painted a mural at the Taipei City Zoo for Pow! Wow! Taiwan. I had the best time ever.
And earlier this year, I was in a really fun show called New Neon at the Bedford Gallery.
